Christian Humility and Unity

April 21, 2013 Speaker: Series: Romans

Passage: Romans 12:3–8

Point # 1 Christian, do not think of yourself more highly than you ought: think of yourself with a sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has given you, and so be humble (3).

Point # 2 New City, in Christ we are one body, and each member belongs to all the others; the differences evident in the people of God are part of God’s design (4-5).

Point # 3 New City, the exercise of our individual grace-gifts must not be separated from the unity of our local church body; they are to be used for the common good (6-8).
