Jesus, the Shepherd of the Sheep
Passage: John 10:1–21
- Jesus knows his own people and draws out his own flock from a “mixed fold”, representing Judaism (1-5).
- Jesus nurtures his own people (6-10).
- Jesus dies for his own people, including gentiles (11-18).
- Jesus transforms his own people. He opens blind eyes. (19-21).
The sermon owes a debt to D.A. Carson’s “The Gospel According to John”, and “For the Love of God”
